Dr. Toby Trahair

Research

Since 2006, Dr Trahair’s research program has focused on the initiation and progression of leukaemia, mechanisms of drug resistance in leukaemia and the sensitive detection of residual tumour cells.

Background

Dr Toby Trahair is a Staff Specialist in Paediatric Haematology/Oncology at the Kids Cancer Centre, a Clinical Research Fellow at the Children’s Cancer Institute Australia for Medical Research and a conjoint lecturer at the University of New South Wales. He holds a doctoral degree in Medicine from The University of Sydney, Australia.  Dr Trahair’s clinical interests include the management of solid tumours, haematopoetic stem cell transplantation and adolescent and young adult cancer.
